
Ricardo is a partner at Lacaz Martins, Pereira Neto, Gurevich & Schoueri Advogados, with a focus on international taxation matters, including corporate reorganizations, transfer pricing, tax treaty law, and Pillar Two. He is also a Professor in the Professional Master’s Program at the Brazilian Institute of Tax Law (IBDT) and in the LL.M. in Tax Law at Insper, as well as a Researcher with the Study Group on Income Tax Reform in Brazil (GERIR). He holds a Doctorate in Tax Law (summa cum laude) from the University of Cologne (Germany). In 2026, he received the 12th Frans Vanistendael Award for the book “The Justification and Structure of the GloBE Model Rules”. In 2024, he was awarded the EATLP Tax Thesis Award and received an Honorable Mention in the IFA Mitchell Carroll Award for his doctoral thesis.
