Tim van Brederode is a PhD candidate at the Tax Law department of Leiden University. His research is part of the Tax Transparency Project, which is funded by Adessium Foundation. His doctoral research focuses on harmonization of corporate taxation in the European Union and the case study of the global minimum tax on EU tax policymaking. He holds a Master of Science in Fiscal Economics from the University of Amsterdam. He worked as tax policy advisor at the Dutch Ministry of Finance (2018-2022).
