Ricardo García Antón is an assistant professor at Tilburg Univeristy. In the past he was a Senior Research Associate and a postdoctoral reserch fellow at IBFD Academic. He holds a master’s degree in Taxation from the Instituto de Estudios Fiscales/University of Seville (Spain) and an advanced LLM in Comparative, European and International Law from the European University Institute (EUI).He received his PhD from the EUI in 2015. Prior to joining the EUI in 2010, he worked for seven years as a tax practitioner at Deloitte, PwC and at one of the major law firms in Spain (Perez-Llorca) in the field of taxation, concentrating on due diligences/tax audits, M&A transactions and tax opinions related to tax disputes.
